It would be safe to say, each child who has went out into the outdoors at one time or another has been instructed to keep an eye pealed for some of these amazing animals, or else you could become another victim to a mi-rooding reptile, known as the "Hoop Snake". The snake's muscular length allows it to make an entire 360-degree circle when it is on the ground. The snake then grabs its tail and forms a living Hula Hoop by placing it inside its mouth.

Hoop Snake speeds at lightning speeds, slicing through cars, trees and other objects along its path. Then, it chases its victim upand up hills. As a kid, I looked around every corner to make sure I was protected from this snake. But, I did not get to see or meet any other child who was pursued or witnessed one due to it. My generation is likely to be faster than previous generations because almost all adults who talked about this creature were either victims or relatives who had been victimized by Hoop Snakes. Hoop Snake. It's a shame that kids are old enough to realize that there are no Hoop Snakes. It was an integral aspect of their lives. Adults told their tales with such a fearful tone in their voice , and they the animal was described in such detail, that a child never got a chance.

It's impossible to determine the number of children who were slapped by the creators of this wagging tail for being tardy for dinner or not being on-time. It was a bit difficult for many kids from my neighborhood. It is now apparent that there's never been nor will ever be an Hoop Snake. It is in part due to my childhood. Can you imagine how strong it could be if the creature were real? Turning over on its back over the top of its head is an outright violation of law. The ability of the animal to navigate between trees and other objects is a feat of strength. When I was out walking looking at every corner, I gave a bit of a laugh to a couple of adults. The story is a sham, never was a Hoop Snake, never will be.

Then comes the unwelcome Milk Snake. It was responsible to kids getting brittlebone disease. As a youngster I was told to drink every drop of milk. Because of the increasing quantity of Milk Snakes that occur during rainy seasons, there will likely be an imminent shortage of milk. This Milk Snake was not related to the actual milk snake, a member of the King Snake family, (Lampropeltis triangulum), not at all. The snake was huge and all-black and would slip into barns underneath a cloak of darkness. A cow wouldn't be able to stop it from moving swiftly and purposefully. It would cling to the cows' utter and not give an thought to the children who's teeth would be ripped out and get brittle bones. It forced the poor cow to drink dry. It was said that farmers would go to the barn at daybreak to leave dust behind the cows as they tried to milk them.

There were farmers who had a bounty on this snake and would pay big bucks for every milk snake brought to them. I've never thought about it , but can you imagine how large the milk snake would be to have consumed up to four gallons of milk in one moment? We are talking twenty-five feet and as wide as footballs. A snake of this size would have been hard to find, but just like the vampire who could consume six liters of blood from a single victim, it was magic. Since no one made the first cent out of of the bounty's for the milk thieves. Again sad to say the milk snake is not real it never was and never has been, and will never be. Snakes are lactose-intolerant so forcing them to drink two ounces could cause their death. Beware!

What ever occurred? The frightful creature was born of a pair of extremely distinct, yet extremely affectionate snakes. They met one another just a little while ago. The male was an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake who came upon a Southern Pine snake, they were both looking at one another, stars were seen by both and cupid started shooting arrows across the entire area and they both fell in love with one and one. They had a lot of young un's as did all married couples. These were not just ordinary youngsters, but snakes that had half of the father's defencive weapons, as well as the half of the mothers. Summated, the Bull snake, as it was known, was one of many undesirable animals you could encounter in the woods.
