The Hoop Snake is able to move at a staggering speed, staying clear of trees, cars, and any other objects that might be in its way. It's impossible to tell the number of children who were slapped by the designers of the tail due to being tardy for dinner, not keeping their schedules or for simply walking slowly, and looking at every possible spot a Hoop Snake could be lurking, while they walked back home. It was a stressful period for a lot of children in my former neighborhood. I now realize that there wasn't a Hoop Snake, and this is due to the lost time during my childhood. Do you think of the strength that this animal could possess should it be real? Flipping up on its side is a feat that defies all laws. The ability of the animal to navigate between trees and things is an impressive feat of strength. I'm sure I brought a lot of laughter for some adults as they watched me look around at every turn I went by. The story was a failure and there's ever been an Hoop Snake before and there will never be another.
Next is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was the reason for children to develop Brittlebone Disease. As a child I was told to drink all my milk since there was an increase in Milk Snakes because of the heavy rains. There would be an influx of milk soon. The Milk Snake did not appear to be connected in any way to the real Milk Snake that is part of the King Snake Family (Lampropeltistriangulum). The snake was huge and black, and was able to sneak into barns, hiding under an eerie cover. It moved swiftly and carefully, which meant that it didn't have any chance. It would grasp cows' utters and never think about the children's teeth that would eventually disappear. The snake then sucked the cow dry. Based on our research farmers would visit the barn during breaks during the day to gather dust and milk the cows.
A bounty was set up by some farmers for each milk snake they brought in. Though I never thought about it, could you imagine how big the milk snake had to be to consume three to four gallons of milk in one time? The snake could grow up to twenty-five feet long and be as large as a football. It would have been difficult to find a snake this big, but it was magical, just like vampires who could consume six liters of water from one human victim. The only person who ever took home the first cent of the money paid to this milk theft thief. Again sad to say the milk snake is a legend and never has been, never has been, and will never be. Snakes are actually lactose intolerant, and forcing the snake to drink two inches of snake water could possibly cause its demise. Don't be fooled again!
