It's hard to know the number of children who were slapped from the people who created this tail for being late for supper, for not keeping their schedules, or simply for taking a long walk, or looking at every possible spot there was a Hoop Snake could lurk while they walked home. It was a confusing moment for children from my old neighborhood. Now I see that there never was or is not going to ever be the existence of a Hoop Snake. This story has been discredited. never was an Hoop Snake, never will be.
The fearsome Milk Snake is next. It was the reason for children being diagnosed with bone brittle disease. As a young person, I was advised to drink my entire milk because of the rise in the number of Milk Snakes brought on by rainy days. This meant that there will soon be a shortage. This Milk Snake was not related in any way to the real Milk Snake, which is part of the King Snake Family (Lampropeltistriangulum). The snake was black, long, and large. It was slow and careful, and cows were never in danger. It would grab cows' utters, and not care about the children's teeth that would eventually fall out. The snake then took the cow dry. The male was an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake who came upon the Southern Pine snake, they glanced at one and other, stars were seen by both, and cupid began shooting arrows across the entire area and they fell madly in love with each one. They had a lot of young uns and married couples. These weren't ordinary young uns but snakes with half of the fathers defencive weaponry , and half of the mothers. After all was done and done it was clear that the Bull snake was one of the most dangerous animals that could be found in the forests.
