It is likely that every child who went out into the outdoors at one time or another was instructed to keep an eye pealed for one of these incredible animals, or else you could become another victim who fell prey to a mi-rooding reptile, known as the "Hoop Snake". The extra-long and muscular snake is able to create the perfect 360-degree circle around its body while it is on the ground. It then places its tail into its mouth to form a living Hula Hoop. And then, like magic, it turns on its back, and it begins the hunt!

The Hoop Snake moves at a staggering speed, avoiding trees, cars, and any other obstacles in its way. It is a harrier that chases its victim down up and down hills, along with sets of steps, across the backyard, and then over the cat. Nothing can stop the ancient reptile from following a child, their favorite prey. When I was a kid, I always checked my surroundings to ensure my safety from this known snake. I never saw the snake or ever chased by it. I would guess my generation was faster then the generations of past since nearly every adult who spoke of the creature was either a victim or had a relative who was scourged by the Hoop Snake. It is sad for kids to find out that Hoop Snakes are extinct. Children wouldn't have the opportunity to meet the animal if they didn't hear it from their parents.

There is no way to know how many children were spanked by the originators. It was quite confusing for a lot of youngsters in my community. I can tell you. Today, I am aware that there's never been and will ever be a Hoop Snake. I'm devastated by this due to all the times I was an infant. Do you think about how powerful it could be if this creature was real? It's incredible to be able to flip on its side, defying laws of Physics. Also, its ability to steer into and out from trees and other objects. Although its eyes are constantly looking down or up, it never sees the Lay that is on its way. So I must have provided some adults with a smile as they watched me walk through the streets, looking at every corner I came across. This story has been discredited.

Next is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was responsible to kids getting Brittlebone Disease. When I was a child I was instructed to drink all of my milk because there has been an increase in Milk Snakes because of the torrential rains, and there was likely to be a milk shortage fairly shortly. This Milk Snake wasn't connected to the real Milk Snake (Lampropeltistriangulum) or in any other way. The snake was huge and black and could sneak into barns under a dark cover. The snake moved slowly and deliberatey, so it didn't have any chance. It would grab the cows words, and then move further to suck the cow dry. The story told us farmers would come by the barn at night to dust the cows and leave it uttering as they milked it.

A bounty was established by some farmers for each milk snake they brought in. While it wasn't something I had thought of, imagine how large a milk snake would be to consume up to four gallons of milk in a single sitting. The snake could grow up to 25 feet in length and as wide as the size of a football. It would have been difficult to find a snake this large, but it was magical as was the vampire who could drink six liters of blood from one human victim. The only person who ever took home the first penny of the money offered to this milk thieves. Sad to say, the milk serpent is a myth. It's never one and will never be again. Snakes are lactose intolerant and forcing the animals to drink two ounces could cause their death. I was fooled once again!

What did happen to the "Venomous Bull Snake", a brand-new kind of snake? This terrifying animal is the result of two very amorous and different snakes that were able to meet some time ago.
