It was quite confusing for many of the children in my neighborhood. I now realize that there was never an Hoop Snake which is mainly because of the lost time during my childhood. Imagine the strength it would be if the animal were alive. The ability to flip over on its back is an inflict of defiance to the physical laws. It can also move through trees, and its eyes can look down or forward. While I was wandering around taking in every turn and nook, I gave a smidge of laughter to a few adults.
