Every child who goes outdoors is warned to be alert for the "Hoop Snake" an invasive reptile. This muscular snake can form the perfect 360-degree circular shape sitting on the ground because of its length. The snake catches its tail in its mouth and forms a living Hula Hoop. It's like magic, it then flips to the side and is off!

The Hoop Snake rolls at a blazing speed, staying clear of trees as well as cars and other objects that might be in its way. It is a harrier that chases its victim down down hills and down hills and up steps, through the yard, and then over the cat. It is impossible to stop the ancient reptile from following a young child and their most sought-after prey. I was a kid and looked around every corner to make sure that I was protected from this snake. But, I did not have the opportunity to meet another kid who was either pursued or witnessed one as a result. I'd guess that my generation was more advanced than those of the past since nearly everyone who was an adult who mentioned the creature was either a victim or had a family member who was attacked by a Hoop Snake. It's a shame that kids grow up and discover there are no Hoop Snakes. It was an integral aspect of their lives. Adults would tell their tales with so much anxiety and detail that it was hard for children to imagine the animal.

There is no way to know how many children were spanked by the creators of the program. It was very confusing for many children from my neighborhood. Now , I can see that there never was or is not going to ever be a Hoop Snake. It's an unfortunate fact due to my experiences as a child. Can you imagine the strength this animal would have in the event that it was real? Flipping up on its side defies the laws. The animal's ability to navigate between trees and other objects is an impressive feat of strength. I'm pretty sure I provided plenty of laughs for a few adults as they looked at me from every turn I went by. This story is a flop and there's ever been a Hoop Snake, and there isn't going to be another.

The dreaded Milk Snake is next. It is the cause of children developing bone brittle disease. When I was a kid I was told to drink my entire milk due to an increase in Milk Snakes caused by heavy rains. This meant that there would soon be a shortage. The Milk Snake was not related to the real milk snake (Lampropeltistriangulum) however, it was a member in the King Snake family. The snake was huge and all-black and would slip into barns underneath a cloak of darkness. The cows wouldn't be able to stop it from moving at a slow pace and intentionally. It would grab onto cows' utters and never give any thought to the children with teeth that were likely to fall out , and later acquire brittle bones, it took the cow's blood dry. We were informed that farmers would return to the barn after a day break to find dust leaving the cows mouths as they tried to milk it.

The snake was a sought-after property of farmers, and they would shell out huge sums of money for each snake that was called to their attention. This was something I'd not thought of, but it is amazing to think how large the milk serpent was to consume up to 4 gallons in one go. These snakes can be seen at twenty-five ft and are as big as a football. It would have been difficult to locate a snake of this size and powerful, but it was truly magical as was vampires who could drink six liters from one human. The only person who ever took home the first penny of the bounty's offered to this milk thieves. The milk serpent is a myth. It's never one and will never be again. Snakes are lactose intolerant. Inducing a snake drink two-ounces might cause its demise. Don't be deceived.

What did happen to the "Venomous Bull Snake" is a brand new species of snake? This terrifying creature is the result of two very amorous and different snakes that met some time ago. Male was an Eastern Diamondback rat snake who encountered a Southern Pine snake. After a brief glance, stars were spotted by both. Cupid started shooting arrows everywhere and both fell madly in love. They had a lot of young uns as did all married couples. These were not normal young people. They were snakes that had half the arsenal of their mother and half of the father's. Totaled up, the Bull snake as it was known was a terrible animal to cross in the woods.
