The fearsome Milk Snake is next. It was the reason for children suffering from brittle bone disease. As a child I was told to drink all my milk as there had been an increase in Milk Snakes because of the torrential rains. There would be the shortage of milk soon. The Milk Snake wasn't at all related to the actual Milk Snake (Lampropeltis Triangulum) and was a member of the King Snake family. The long, fat snake was all black and moved in slow and deliberate manners, making it impossible for cows to resist.
