Hoop Snake is a fast reptile that rolls at great speeds, avoiding trees and vehicles. When it's on the trail of its prey, the Hoop Snake will chase the victim around the yard, around the cat and then climb up the steps. When I was a kid I was always looking around every turn to ensure my safety from this well known snake .
