Our knowledge was that the barn would be visited by farmers at breaks during the day, and they left dust behind as the cows would utter their thoughts as they milked them.
This snake was a prized property of farmers, and they would shell out huge sums of money for each one that was called to their attention. Although it was not something I had thought of, imagine how large a milk snake could have been to consume up to 4 gallons of milk per sitting. They can be seen at 25 feet and are the size of the size of a football. It is obvious that a snake of that size could have been simple for someone to find. But, as with the vampire that was able to drink six liters blood from one person, it was magic. Nobody ever got the first dollar of the bounty that was offered to this milk theft thief. The mythical milk snake has gone extinct. Snakes aren't tolerant of lactose, so forcing a snake to drink two ounces of snake water could cause its death. Don't be deceived.
