It's possible to say that any child who went out into the outdoors at one time or another was instructed to keep an eye on any of these magnificent animals, or else you could become another victim to a mi-rooding reptile referred to as the "Hoop Snake". The long, muscular snake is capable of forming an exact 360° circle with its body when lying on the ground. Then, it puts its tail inside its mouth to form the living Hula Hoop. After that, like magic, it flips on its back, and it begins the chase!

The Hoop Snake rolls at a staggering speed, avoiding trees or cars and other objects in its path. It chases its victim down, through hills and down and up steps, across the backyard, and even over the cat. Nothing can stop the snake from following a child, their favorite prey. When I was a kid, I always checked my surroundings to ensure my safety from the well-known snake. I didn't see it , nor have I ever been caught by it. My generation probably grew quicker than previous generations, since almost every adult who was able to talk about this snake was either an innocent victim or knew someone who was hit by one. It's sad that children become adults and realize they don't have Hoop Snakes. They were a huge part of most kids' lives. Children would never have the chance to encounter this creature even if they did not hear about it from their parents.

It is impossible to know the exact number of children who were punished by the people who created this wagging tail for being tardy for dinner or not getting there on time. It was a really confusing period for many youngsters in my neighborhood, and I can assure you that with all sincerity. Today, I am aware that there has never been or will ever be a Hoop Snake. I am saddened by this due to all the time I spent as an infant. Do you think of the strength it could have were this creature real? The ability to turn on its back is an inflict of defiance to the laws of physics. It can also navigate through trees while its eyes look either down or forward. Well I guess I provided some adults with a little smile as I walked through the streets, looking at every corner I came across. The story I told you about isn't real. I'm not a Hoop Snake.

The next one is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was the reason for children to develop brittlebone disease. When I was a child I was instructed to drink my entire milk since there was an increase in the number of Milk Snakes due to the heavy rains and there was likely to be a milk shortage fairly soon. The Milk Snake was not connected to the real Milk Snake (Lampropeltistriangulum), in any way. The snake was huge and black, and would slide into barns underneath a cloak of darkness. A cow would not be in a position to stop it from moving at a slow pace and intentionally. It would latch onto the cows' utter and not give an thought to the children whose teeth were sure to be ripped out and develop brittle bones, and it forced the poor cow to drink dry. Our knowledge was that the barn would be visited by farmers at day break, who left dust behind as the cows would utter their thoughts as they milked them.

This snake was a prized possession of farmers and they would shell out huge sums of money for each one called to their attention. Although I didn't think about it, can you imagine how large the milk snake would have been to consume three to four five gallons of milk in a single time? We are talking twenty-five feet and as wide as a football. This size snake was difficult to find, but like the vampire who was able to consume six liters blood from a single victim it was a feat of magic. Since no one took the first dollar out of all of the rewards for the milk thief. It's sad to announce that the myth about the milk snake has been debunked. Snakes don't like lactose and forcing a snake to drink two ounces of snake water could cause death. I was fooled once again!

What ever happened with the "Venomous Bull Snake", an entirely new snake species? This fearsome creature was born of a pair of very divergent, yet very affectionate snakes. They met one another just a little while ago. Male snake was an Eastern Diamondback rat snake who encountered the female Southern Pine snake. After just a glance, stars were seen by both. Cupid began shooting arrows all over the place and the two fell in love. in love. As all married couples, they had plenty of young uns. They were not typical young uns. They were snakes that had half the arsenal of their mother and half the father's. When all is said and done this was the Bull snake as it was referred to was a terrible animal to cross in the forest.
