The Hoop Snake moves at a staggering speed, keeping clear of trees as well as cars and other obstacles in its way. It was a confusing period for a lot of children in my neighborhood. It is now apparent that there's never been or will ever be an Hoop Snake. It is partly due to my childhood. Do you think of the power this animal would have in the event that it was real? Its ability to turn on its back defies the physical laws. It is also able to turn around and through trees with its eyes fixed either downwards or upwards and never noticing what is in its path. As I walked away, I looked around every corner.
