Hoop Snake speeds at lightning speeds, slicing through cars, trees and other things in its path, and chases its victims upand into hills. As a child I was always looking around every turn to ensure my safety against this widely known snake . I think I did a good job of avoiding it, as I did not witness one, or meet a child who saw one or was pursued by one. My generation was more agile than other generations. The majority of people who talk about this snake were victims themselves or had relatives who were savaged by one. It's very sad when children are aware that Hoop Snakes do not exist. With such a deep dread in their voices, adults talked about the animal in such detail that a kid could not even get to listen to their stories.
No one knows the number of children who were slapped by the originators. It was a bit complicated for a lot of kids from my former neighborhood. Now I realize there never was nor will ever be a Hoop Snake and I'm devastated due to the time lost during my child hood. Do you think of the strength that it could possess were this creature real? It's amazing to be able flip onto its side, defying the laws of physics. Additionally, it has the ability to steer in and out from trees and other obstacles. Although its eyes are constantly focused on the ground or upwards and down, it is unable to see the Lay in its path. They were quite amused when I saw them stare around every corner I passed by. This tale is not true. I'm not a Hoop Snake.
Then we come to the dreaded Milk Snake who was responsible for children developing Brittle Bone Disease. When I was a kid I was told to drink my entire milk due to an rise in the number of Milk Snakes brought on by the heavy rains. This meant that there would soon be a shortage. The Milk Snake was not associated with a real milk snake (Lampropeltistriangulum) However, it was a member in the King Snake family. This snake was fat and black and would sneak into barns beneath a dark cloak. The snake moved swiftly and carefully, which meant that it didn't have an opportunity. It would grasp cows' utters, and not give a damn about the kids whose teeth would soon disappear. The snake would then take the cow dry. We knew that the barn was visited by farmers at day break, who left behind dust after the cows would utter their thoughts as they milked them.
The bounty was paid out by farmers who would shell out a large amount of money for each milk snake they brought to their farm. While it wasn't something I had thought of, imagine how large a milk snake would have been to consume up to four gallons of milk per sitting. It can reach twenty-five foot and can grow the same height like a football. It's obvious that a snake that big could have been simple to locate. However, just like the vampire who could drink six liters blood from a single person, it was magical. It was never the first penny of any reward offered to the milk thieves. It's sad to announce that the myth about the milk snake has been debunked. Snakes are lactose intolerant and forcing the animals to drink two ounces could lead to their demise. Don't fall for it!
What ever happened the new species of snake, the "Venomous Bull Snake?" This terrifying creature was born of two totally different types of snakes who both happened to be romantically attracted. The male was an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake who came upon a Southern Pine snake, they were both looking at one another the stars were observed by both and cupid started shooting arrows everywhere and they both fell in love with one and other. They were a group of young uns and married couples. These were not your average young uns. They carried half the weapons used by their fathers, and half the weapons of their mothers. All things considered, the Bull Snake as it was called was among the most unpleasant animals you could encounter in the woods.
