When I was out walking looking at every corner I was able to give a little of a laugh to a couple of adults. This tale is over. There was never a Hoop snake and it will never ever be.
Then there is the fearsome Milk Snake who was responsible for the children who developed Brittle Bone Disease. As a kid, I was told to drink my entire milk because there has been an increase in the number of Milk Snakes as a result of the heavy rains and there was sure to have a shortage of milk shortly. The Milk Snake wasn't related to the real milk snake (Lampropeltistriangulum), but it was a member in the King Snake family. This snake was long and large, and all black.
