Every child that ventures outside has been warned to be alert for "Hoop Snake", a migrating reptile. The long, muscular snake can form the perfect 360° circle with its body when lying on the ground. It then puts its tail inside its mouth, forming the living Hula Hoop. After that like magic, it flips over on its back, and it begins the chase!

Hoop Snake speeds at lightning speeds, slicing through trees, cars, and other objects along its path. Then, it pursues its victim up, up hills. I can remember watching every corner as a child to ensure my safety from this familiar snake. But I did not see the Hoop Snake myself or met anyone else who was pursued by the Hoop Snake. My generation probably was faster than the earlier generations as almost every adult who spoke about the snake was either one of the victims or had a relative who was hit by one. It's a shame when children grow up and realize there are no Hoop Snakes. They played a large part in most kids ' lives. The adults told their stories with such an intense dread in their voice , and they detailed the creature in such detail, that a child never got a chance.

It's difficult to determine how many kids were spanked by the designers of this tail because they were late for supper, for not following the schedule, or simply for walking slowly, and looking out for any place where the Hoop Snake might lurk, as they made their way back home. It was quite confusing for many of the kids from my old neighborhood. It is now apparent that there's never been and will never be an Hoop Snake. This is partly because of my early years. Do you think of the strength that it could possess had it been a real animal? It is amazing to be able flip onto its side, defying laws of physical physics. Also, its ability to steer into and out of trees and other obstacles. While its eyes are constantly focused on the ground or upwards and down, it is unable to see the Lay that is on its way. They were a bit amused watching them stare around every corner that I went to. This tale is not true. I am not a Hoop Snake.

The next one is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was responsible to kids getting Brittlebone Disease. I was instructed as a child to drink my entire milk, because there was a surge in Milk Snakes resulting from the rainy season. It was expected that there would be a shortage very soon. This Milk Snake was not related to the actual milk snake, a member of the King Snake family, (Lampropeltis triangulum), not at all. The snake was large and black and could sneak into barns under a dark cover. The snake moved slowly and in a deliberate manner, meaning that a cow didn't stand any chance. It would latch onto the cows' utter and not give any thought to the children with teeth that were likely to fall out , and later get brittle bones. It forced the poor cow to drink dry. We knew that the barn was visited by farmers at day break, who left dust behind as the cows spoke as they milked them.

There were farmers who offered a bounty to the snake and would pay big bucks for every milk snake brought to them. I've never thought of it, but can you imagine the size of a milk snake that would have become to consume up to four gallons at once? The snake could grow up to twenty-five feet in length and can be as big as the size of a football. A snake this big was difficult to locate, but like the vampire who could consume six liters blood from one victim It was magical. Since no one made the first cent out of of the rewards for the milk thief. The milk snake myth is now a myth. Snakes don't like lactose and forcing a snake to drink two ounces of snake water could cause its death. You've been fooled!

What has happened to the new kind of snake, dubbed the "Venomous Bull Snake"? The frightful creature is the result of two totally different snake species, that were both sexually attractive. The male snake was an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake and he saw an Southern Pine Snake. Stars were observed by both of them and cupid started shooting arrows all over the place. The couple was a group of young women, just like the majority of married couples. They were not your typical young uns. They had half the defencive weapons of their fathers and half of their mothers. The Bull snake, as it was called was one of the most dangerous animals you could encounter in the woods.

Since they can’t climb trees, you’ll see them. Bears are among the most powerful animals on top of the food chain. The good news is, beavers are great at playing hide and seek, and they excel at escaping predatory.
