Rolling at incredible speeds dodging cars, trees, and all other obstacles in its path, the viscious Hoop snake chases its victim down, up hills, down hills and up steps, across the yard and over the local cat but nothing can stop this reptile's ancient history when it's on the trail of a child, their favorite prey. I was a kid and constantly looked around the corner to make sure I was secure from the snake. However, I didn't encounter another child who was caught or was a victim as a result. I would guess my generation was a step ahead of those of the past and nearly everyone who was an adult who mentioned this creature was a former victim or had a family member who was victimized by the Hoop Snake. It's a bit sad for children to discover that Hoop Snakes are extinct. It was a devastating awakening for kids to realize that Hoop Snakes weren't real.
There is no way to know how many children got spanked by the originators. It was a confusing period for a lot of children in my old neighborhood. I have come to realize that there was never an Hoop Snake, and this is mostly due to the absence of time in my youth. Can you imagine the strength the animal could possess if it were actually real? It is amazing to be able to turn on its side, defying laws of physics. It also has the ability to steer out of trees and other things. While its eyes are constantly looking down or up, it never sees what Lay is in its direction. While I was wandering around looking at every corner I was able to give a little of a laugh to a couple of adults. This story has been dismissed.
Next is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was at the root of children developing Brittlebone Disease. As a kid I was advised to drink all my milk because there has been an increase in the number of Milk Snakes as a result of the rainy season and there would have a shortage of milk shortly. This Milk Snake did not appear to be connected in any way to the real Milk Snake, which is part of the King Snake Family (Lampropeltistriangulum). The long, fat snake was completely black and was moving in deliberate and slow manners, making it hard for cows to resist. It would cling to the cow's utters, not ever thinking about the kids who's teeth could fall out. Then it would flush the cow's water. It was said that farmers would go to the barn at daybreak to dust the cows as they tried to milk them.
This snake was a prized farm animal and farmers paid huge sums for each one brought to their attention. Though I never thought about it, could you imagine how large the milk snake had to be to consume three or four five gallons of milk in one session? The snake is approximately twenty-five feet in length and is the size of the size of a football. A snake this big would have been hard to find, but just like the vampire who could take six liters of blood from one person, it was magic. Because no one ever took the first dollar from the money that was offered to the milk theft thief. Unfortunately, the milk snake legend is now a myth. Snakes are lactose-intolerant. Forcing a snake to drink 2 ounces of milk could lead to its death. Don't be fooled again!
What ever was the fate of the new species of snake called the "Venomous Bull Snake"? This terrifying creature is the result of a pair of extremely different, but very amorous, snakes. They came across one another in the past few days. The male snake was the Eastern Diamondback rat snake who was able to see an Southern Pine snake. After just a glance, stars were seen by both. Cupid was shooting arrows all over the place and both fell madly in love. They were a group of young un's, as did all married couples. They were not normal young uns but snakes with half of the fathers ' defensive weapons and half of the mothers. Summated, the Bull snake in the way it was called, was one of many bad animals that you could find in the forest.
