Hoop Snake is a speedy reptile that rolls at great speeds, dodging trees and cars. When it's on trail of their prey, the Hoop Snake is known to chase its prey through the yard, past the cat, and then up the steps. As a child I always looked around to protect myself from the known snake. I never saw it or have ever been pursued by it. My generation was more advanced than previous generations. The majority of adults who was a fan of the snake was either an innocent victim or had a relative that was scourged. It's a shame that kids grow up and discover they don't have Hoop Snakes. It was a major aspect of their lives. Children wouldn't have the opportunity to meet this creature if they didn't hear it from their parents.
The originators of this tail aren't aware of how many kids were given spankings when they were late for dinner or for not being late for school or. The reason was that they walked slowly and looked at every spot far away in the hopes that there was a Hoop Snake could be waiting. This was extremely difficult for many kids from my neighborhood. Now I see that there was never will ever be the existence of a Hoop Snake. It's an unfortunate fact due to the years I lost as a youngster. Imagine the strength it would have if it were actually alive. It's incredible to be able flip onto its back, defying the laws of physics. When I was out walking taking in every turn I was able to give a little of laughter to a few adults. This tale is busted, never was a Hoop Snake, and never will be.
Next, we have the fearsome Milk Snake. He was the reason why children developed the brittle bone disease. As a youngster, I was warned to drink every drop of milk. It would grab onto cows utter and never giving any thought to the children whose teeth were sure to fall out , and later develop brittle bones, and it forced the poor cow to drink dry. Based on our research farmers used to visit the barn during breaks in the day to collect dust and milk the cows.
This snake was a prized property of farmers, and they paid huge sums for each one called to their attention. I've never considered it, but can you imagine how huge the milk snake must be to have consumed up to four gallons of milk in one sitting? This snake is about 25 feet long and the size of a football. Even though a snake this size might have been very difficult to find however, it's not impossible to catch. The mythical milk snake is gone. Snakes are actually lactose intolerant and forcing the snake to drink two pounds of snake may very well cause its demise. Don't fall for it!
