Hoop Snake is a speedy reptile that can move at incredible speeds, skipping over trees and vehicles. If it's on the path of their prey the Hoop Snake can chase its prey through the yard, around the cat and up the steps. As a youngster I was always looking around every corner to ensure my safety against this well known snake and I guess I was successful of avoiding it, as I didn't encounter one, or even meet another kid who either witnessed one or was chased by one. My generation was faster than other generations. The majority of adults who speak of this snake were either victims or had family members who were victimized by one. It's sad to see youngsters growing older and recognizing that there are no Hoop Snakes. Children would never have the opportunity to meet this animal even if they did not hear about it from their parents.
The creators of this tail don't know the number of kids who received spankings for not arriving on time for dinner or for not being on time. It was because they walked slowly and looked at every spot that was in the distance, in the hopes that there was a Hoop Snake could be waiting for them. It was very difficult for many kids in my old neighborhood. I'm now aware that there never was any Hoop Snake, and this is mostly due to the absence of time in my early years. What is the strength it would be if this animal were real? Being able to turn over onto its back defies the laws of physics, as do its ability to spin in and out of trees and other objects with its eyes looking either down or up and never seeing what Lay across its path. I think I did provide a lot of laughter for a few adults as they watched me look around at every turn I went by. This tale is not true. I am no Hoop Snake.
The next one is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was at the root of children developing Brittlebone Disease. As a youngster I was taught to drink all my milk since there was an increase in Milk Snakes because of the rains that were heavy. It was likely to be an influx of milk soon. The Milk Snake was not connected in any way to the real Milk Snake and is a member of King Snake Family (Lampropeltistriangulum). The snake was completely long, black and fat. It moved slow and cautiously, and cows were never in danger. It would grasp onto cows' utters, never considering the kids with teeth that were likely to fall out. Following that it would wash the cow's water. We knew that the barn would be visited by farmers during day break, who would leave behind dust as the cows would utter their thoughts as they milked them.
Farmers had a bounty and would pay big money for any milk snake that was brought to them. I never really thought about it but do you think about how big the milk snake would have been to consume three to four gallons of milk in one moment? The snakes are visible at 25 feet and are as big as a football. It would have been difficult to find a snake this big and powerful, but it was truly magical as was the vampire that could drink six liters from one human victim. No one ever received the first dollar of all the reward given to the milk thieves. It's sad to say that the milk serpent is a legend. It's never been ever been a reality and it will not be one again. Snakes are lactose-intolerant so forcing them to drink two ounces could result in their death. Beware!
What occurred? This terrifying animal is the result of two very amorous and different snakes that were able to meet some time ago. Male snake was an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake and he encountered the female a Southern Pine Snake. Stars were seen by both the snakes and cupid began shooting arrows all over the place. They had many young and were just like the married couples of the time. These weren't ordinary young uns but snakes with half of the fathers defencive weaponry , and half of the mothers. All done and dusted it was clear that the Bull snake was among the most dangerous animals that could be found in the forests.
