It would be safe to say, any child who was out in the open at one time or another is advised to keep their eyes on any of these magnificent animals, or else you could become another victim who fell prey to a mi-rooding reptile referred to as the "Hoop Snake". This long, muscular snake is capable of forming an exact 360° circle using its body when on the ground. The snake then grabs its tail and creates an actual Hula Hoop by placing it inside its mouth.

Hoop Snake, rolling at incredible speeds and keeping clear of trees and vehicles it chases prey down and up hills up and down hills, as well as up sets of stairs, through the yard and over the cat. As a child I always looked around to protect myself from this well-known snake. I never saw it , nor have I ever been pursued by it. I'd say my generation was more advanced than the generations of past since nearly every adult who spoke of the creature was either a victim or had a friend who was scourged by a Hoop Snake. It's tragic to watch children growing up and realizing that there are no Hoop Snakes. Adults shared their stories with such anxiety and details that it was difficult for children to imagine this animal.

It's hard to know how many kids were spanked by the designers of this tail because they were late for supper, for not following the schedule, or simply for walking slowly, and looking out at any spot where the Hoop Snake could be lurking, when they headed to home. It was very confusing for many children in my old neighborhood. Today, I realize that there never was or is not going to ever be an Hoop Snake. It's a sad fact because of my experiences when I was a kid. Do you think of the strength that this animal could possess if it was real? The flipping of its back over the top of its head is an outright violation of law. The ability of the animal to move between trees and other objects is a feat of strength. Well I guess I provided a few adults with a little bit of laughter while I walked through the streets, looking at every corner I came to. This story has been debunked.

The next one is the scary Milk Snake, who caused brittlebone disease in children. I was taught in my childhood to drink my entire milk as there was a surge in Milk Snakes from the heavy rains. It was probable that there was going to be a shortage soon. The Milk Snake wasn't at all related to the actual Milk Snake (Lampropeltis Triangulum), a member the King Snake family. This snake was large and black, and would slide into barns under a blanket of darkness. The cows wouldn't be able to stop it from moving at a slow pace and deliberately. It would grab onto cows' utters, and not give a damn about the children whose teeth were soon to fall out. The snake then took the cow dry. We were told that farmers would come to the barn during day break to find dust on the cows' utter as they attempted to milk it.

Certain farmers offered a bounty to this snake , and would offer huge sums for each milk snake that was brought to them. I have never thought of it before, but can you think of how large a milk snake would have become to consume as much as four gallons at once? It was about twenty-five feet and as wide as footballs. Although a snake of this size would be extremely difficult to locate however, it's not impossible to capture. The legend of the milk snake is no more. Snakes don't like lactose and making a snake drink 2 pounds of water can cause death. I was fooled once again!

What happened to the "Venomous Bull Snake" is a brand new kind of snake? This terrifying creature is result of two divergent and amorous snakes who met some time ago. Male was an Eastern Diamondback rat snake who was able to see an Southern Pine snake. After an instant glance, stars were spotted by both. Cupid was shooting arrows across the entire area and the two fell in love. in love. They had many young un as were all married couples of the time. These weren't normal young uns. They were snakes with half the arsenal of their mother and half the father's. The Bull Snake, as it was called was one of most unpleasant animals to encounter within the forest.
