Hoop Snake is a fast reptile that can move at incredible speeds, skipping over cars and trees. If it's on the trail of their prey, the Hoop Snake can chase its victim through the yard, over the cat and then climb up the steps. As a child I always checked my surroundings to be safe from this well-known snake. I never saw it or have ever been caught by it. My generation was much faster than other generations. Most adults who have heard of this snake were either victims or had relatives who were savaged by one. It's very sad when children learn that Hoop Snakes don't exist. With such a fearful tone that they voiced, the adults spoke about the creature with the same detail that a child wouldn't get to listen to their stories.
It is unknown the number of children who were slapped by the creators of the program. It was a really confusing period for many children in my old neighborhood, and I can assure you this with complete honesty. Now I see that there never was or is not going to be the existence of a Hoop Snake. This is an unfortunate fact due to my experiences as a youngster. Can you just imagine the strength it would possess were this creature real? The ability to flip to the side is a defiance of the laws of physics. This animal can also maneuver in and out trees while its eyes can look down or forward. When I was out walking taking in every turn and nook, I gave a smidge of laughter to a few adults. This tale has been dismissed.
The next one is the unwelcomed Milk Snake. It was responsible to kids getting brittlebone disease. As a youngster, I was warned to drink every drop of milk. Due to the increase in the number of Milk Snakes in rainy seasons, there will likely be the possibility of a shortage of milk in the near future. The Milk Snake was not connected to the real Milk Snake (Lampropeltistriangulum) or in any other way. The snake was completely black, long and fat. It moved slow and cautiously and never put cows in danger. It would grab onto cows utterings, and never think about children. Their teeth were certain to come out, and the snake then took the cow's blood. It was our understanding that the barn would be visited by farmers during the break time, who left dust behind as the cows uttered while they milked them.

While I wasn't thinking about it, can you think of how large the milk snake had to be to have consumed three to four gallons of milk in one session? It could reach up to twenty-five feet and can grow the same height as a football. It would have been difficult to find a snake this large, but it was magical similar to the vampire who could consume six liters of water from one human. Nobody ever got the first dollar of all the bounty's given to the milk theft thief. The mythical milk snake is no more. Snakes are lactose intolerant. The force of a snake to drink two ounces of water could cause its death. I was fooled once again!
